Milk Dreams en Español

This year’s Spanish-language campaign, developed by Long Beach based Grupo Gallegos, consists of three-30-second TV spots. ‘Dreams’ and ‘Laughs’ will debut Monday, January 29, 2007 and run until May 2007 with the third installment ‘Law of Gravity’ rotating in beginning May 14th. With humor and wit, the TV ads position milk as a wonder tonic that fights sleep deprivation, cavities and bone loss. All three spots encourage Latinos to drink milk for these health values.

“Our first round of Spanish-language ads helped people see milk through fresh eyes,” says CMPB Executive Director Steve James. “This year’s TV spots continue to use humor and wit to remind Latinos of the importance of drinking milk.”

‘Dreams’ opens audiences to a place where wishes come true, whether it be a sports car or a trip to the moon. Here, people drink milk to sleep better and to realize their dreams.

‘Laughs’ introduces an island where everyone giggles about everything — unfortunate and unexpected situations included. Natives attribute their great laughs and smiles to milk, the wonder tonic that strengthens teeth and prevents cavities.

Lastly, ‘Law of Gravity’ describes a place of weightlessness where accidents are an every minute occurrence. Here, people drink milk for strong bones to prepare them for all those unexpected mishaps.
