July 3, 2006
Miller Brewing Company announced that Miller marketer and 15-year beer industry veteran Dave Dixon has been promoted to senior director of Hispanic marketing. In his new role, Dixon will lead the Hispanic marketing group and report directly to Randy Ransom, Miller’s new executive vice president and chief marketing officer, who until his recent appointment led Miller’s Hispanic market strategy.
Miller also announced that Ivan Gaudri, a seasoned marketing veteran in Mexico, will take on the role of director of strategic marketing, reporting to Dixon. Gaudri will start with Miller September 11. Most recently, Gaudri was corporate marketing director at Grupo Lala, a leading food processing company in Mexico. Earlier in his career, he was group marketing manager for the Jose Cuervo Company in Mexico.
“As the Hispanic market expands and takes on greater importance in the American beer industry, it’s critical to have leaders with proven operational and practical experience,” Ransom said. “Dave and Ivan are two proven marketers who will enhance our existing capability to deliver differentiated programs for this prominent consumer audience.”
