Minorities In Business Magazine Launch Conference.

Minorities in Business Magazine announced the launch of its 2003 conference series tour, “Show me the Multicultural Money,” focused toward reinvigorating small businesses by providing power networking opportunities and fostering relationships between small companies and local county governments. The conference tour will begin on March 27 in Los Angeles.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, minority-owned businesses are the fastest growing segment of the small business market. Due to this growth MIB created this conference series to empower small multi-cultural business owners. “Show me the Multi-cultural Money” is a one-day conference that includes program elements such as presentations by nationally recognized motivational speakers, keynote addresses by regional diversity leaders, and a multi track power workshop program offering valuable informational and training on knowledge crucial to the success of a small business.

“In today’s critical economic environment it is important to open the channels of communication between small companies, especially as it relates to opportunities that will allow them to expand their business network,” said Cynthia Butler-Hayden, Publisher of Minorities in Business Magazine.

The conference series will begin in Los Angeles on March 27th followed by Phoenix, April 24; Las Vegas, May 29; Atlanta, June 26; Detroit, July 31; Chicago, August 28; and Miami, September 25. The conferences tour will feature a panel of experts specialized in diverse areas of the national industries, and will also include panels and workshops sessions from 7: 00 am to 4:00 p.m.
