Miss Universe 2005 @ Telemundo.

Telemundo will air the world most renowned beauty pageant “Miss Universe 2005” to the U.S. Spanish language viewer LIVE from Thailand on Monday, May 30 (9pm/8pm CT).

In its third consecutive year on Telemundo, “Miss Universe 2005” will be once again hosted by Telemundo star Candela Ferro alongside Alfonso “Poncho” de Anda (Voces de America, De Mañanita).

As a preview to the anticipated event, Telemundo star, Monica Noguera, will host “Camino a la Corona” an exclusive special airing this Saturday, May 21 at 7pm/6pm CT dedicated to the pageant’s Hispanic beauties. This special gives viewers the opportunity to meet the contestants representing various Latin American countries, the Caribbean, and Central America; as well as the delegate from Spain. It will feature interviews on how each delegate has prepared to receive the crown, which not only honors their beauty but also their dedication, sacrifices, determination, and discipline. On Monday, May 30th (8pm/7pm CT), Monica will also host “Las Delegadas a Miss Universo”, a special prior to the live broadcast where viewers can take a peek at the behind the scenes during rehearsals as well as many surprises about the contestants.
