Miss Venezuela 2012 Interactive Gala

Venevision and the Miss Venezuela Organization of the Cisneros Group of Companies, present the “Miss Venezuela 2012 Interactive Gala,” a prelude to one of the most prominent beauty pageants in the world and which enables users of social networks and the Internet to interact and select their favorite candidates. This year‚s edition, which has already attracted more than 2.2 million registered voters, will take place this Saturday, August 11th at 7: 00 PM, and it will be broadcasted live and in High Definition (HD) on Venezuela‚s leading television channel, Venevision, and throughout Latin America via DIRECTV.

The second edition of the Interactive Gala‚ will be hosted by Erika de La Vega, along with Mariela Celis, as they keep the audience abreast to what is happening on show, not only on the screen, but also on the web and social networks. In addition, they will be responsible for connecting the audience with Internet surfers. For that special night, the hashtag #GalaInteractiva [Interactive Gala] will be activated, allowing users to send their comments on the show and interact with the Misses.

The Interactive Gala‚ will feature stellar musical performances by Puerto Rican artists Victor Manuelle and Elvis Crespo, who will interpreted their tropical rhythms to the delight of the audience in attendance and the millions of Latin Americans who will be witnessing the spectacle from the comfort of their homes either on their television sets or via the Internet – a pioneering experience in the world of beauty pageants and which Venevision and the Miss Venezuela Organization have brought forward surpassing all expectations.

As if not enough, Lilibeth Morillo will open the show with an explosive production of “Amor de los Amores” [Love Of Loves], part of the soundtrack of Venevision’s successful telenovela titled “Mi Ex Me Tiene Ganas” [My Ex Wants Me]. In addition, the 24 candidates of this 60th edition of the pageant will be showcased in an innovative choreography dancing to the rhythm of Brazilian superstar Michel Telo‚s hit song, “Ai se eu te pego.’

The Misses will also interact with four of the most sought after heartthrobs in television: Eduardo Orozco and Roberto Mesutti of “Válgame Dios” [The Love Curse / Venevision‚s evening telenovela that has become a true phenomenon, capturing more than 60% marketshare) and Luciano D´Alessandro and Winston Vallenilla, two of the leading men of “Mi Ex Me Tiene Ganas” [My Ex Wants Me].
