MoneyGram ‘Ganna $75,000 para la Casa de Mama’.

MoneyGram announced the start of the “Win $75,000 to Buy a House for Mom” (“Ganna $75,000 para la Casa de Mama”) promotion, the company’s signature event to celebrate Mother’s Day across the world.
MoneyGram customers in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico who send MoneyGram money transfers to any destination outside those countries from April 1 to May 31, 2005, are automatically entered for a chance to win the $75,000 grand prize or one of 40 – $500 first prizes.
“This year marks the 10th anniversary of our ‘Win $75,000 to Buy a House for Mom’ campaign,” said Augusto Esclusa, MoneyGram’s senior marketing manager for Latin America and the Caribbean. “Over the past 10 years, millions of people have participated in the promotion by sending money to family and friends all over the world.”
To celebrate its 10th year of this promotion, MoneyGram has teamed with Univision Television to become one of their major commercial sponsors during the period of March 28 through April 10. During this time, Univision will commemorate the life and music of Selena, a Latin American artist who was killed in 1995, through a series of special programs. MoneyGram will be a major sponsor of these programs, including the broadcast premiere of “Selena the Movie” on March 28.
