Monsalve joins ESPN Deportes SportsCenter.

Adriana Monsalve has joined ESPN Deportes as SportsCenter anchor, it was announced by Chris Calcinari, vice president of production and operations, ESPN Deportes and ESPN International.
“Adriana is uniquely qualified to present in-depth reporting, analysis, features, and news on the sports that Latino viewers care about and we’re happy to have her join our team,” said Calcinari.
Monsalve joins ESPN Deportes with a great deal of experience in sports broadcasting. She is very well known to viewers of Telemundo in Orlando, where for two years she served as sports anchor for their nightly newscast Telenoticias del Orlando. For her work on Telemundo Orlando, Monsalve received the 2005 and 2006 Paoli Awards for Best Sports Anchor of the Year. Monsalve also served as sports columnist for El Sentinel, a Spanish-language daily newspaper in Orlando.
She joins ESPN Deportes’ SportsCenter anchors Tony Cherchi, José Hernández, Michele LaFountain, Álvaro Morales, Heriberto Murrieta, Ciro Procuna and Jorge Eduardo Sánchez. ESPN Deportes airs two daily original Spanish-language versions SportsCenter at 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. ET.
