Montano and Fuentes round up W Radio’s National Spot Sales Team.

W Radio 690 AM announced that Hazel Montano and Melissa Fuentes have been appointed as National Spot Sales Account Managers for the West Coast and South-east respectively. Together with recently named National Sales Manager, Michael Norris, they integrate the national spot sales force for Grupo Latino de Radio’s station in Southern California.

Hazel Montano has been with W Radio 690AM in Los Angeles for over a year. Besides focusing on local retail clients, she is now responsible to bring in national spot accounts coming out of the West Coast. Hazel’s ten plus years of experience in National sales and marketing includes working with Televisa Publishing and other general market publications, and Entravision Radio in Los Angeles.

Melissa Fuentes joined Grupo Latino de Radio in 2007 as part of the national sales team. In her new role with the company, Ms. Fuentes will also be responsible for the national spot accounts in the South East region for GLR’s station in Southern California, W Radio. Prior to joining GLR, Melissa Fuentes worked for several years with Fox Sports en español as part of the cable networks’ sales team.
