Moreno named Sr VP Corporate Development at Fox Netwrok Group.

Erik Moreno was named Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, Fox Networks Group (FNG), it was announced by Michael Lang, Executive Vice President, Business Development and Strategy. Moreno will now assist in identifying new business and strategic opportunities across Fox Entertainment as well as work on acquisitions, joint ventures, and other related opportunities that could include News Corporation units.
The FNG Business Development Group has helped support many of the major strategic initiatives at the company these last few years including: MySpace and IGN acquisitions, Big Ten Channel, Jamba mobile joint venture, hulu (online video start-up with NBCU) and most recently the MySpace Music joint venture with the major music labels.

Moreno will be based in Los Angeles and report to Lang. He joins FNG after having served as Director of Corporate Development with eBay since 2006. While at eBay, he was an integral member of the team responsible for all merger & acquisition activities, equity investments and large business development transactions across the eBay businesses (Marketplaces, PayPal and Skype). Moreno also gained responsibility for international transactions, having negotiated deals in China, India, Germany, Turkey, Thailand and Denmark.
Prior to working at eBay, Moreno served as Vice President in Corporate Development and Strategy at Level 3 Communications leading the company’s strategic planning, merger & acquisition activities, and large business development transactions of its European subsidiary in London.
