Comedy continues to be the podcast genre listened to by the most people in the U.S. Edison Research released the Top Podcast Genres for Q3 2022 ranker based on audience size among those age 18 and older from Edison Podcast Metrics, and Comedy maintains its reign as #1. The Society & Culture genre moved up one rank to the #2 spot from Q2, pushing News to #3. History moves into the Top 10 at #8, while Religion & Spirituality and Education swap places from Q2 2022.
