MTV Tr3´s gets viewers ready for ’07.

Young people are always looking to find out what the hottest things are going to be in the next few months and MTV Tr3´s is here to tell them with the channel’s end-of-year 30-minute special “Espankin’ New ’07” airing on December 16 at 6:00pm ET/5:00pm CT. The show will feature the first exclusive sneak peek at the new Jennifer Lopez video “Que Hiciste” from her first Spanish-language album “Como Ama Una Mujer” debuting in early 2007. Mexican American singer Jennifer Peña will also be featured on “Espankin’ New ‘07” for an exclusive in-studio visit and a ‘first listen’ to her new track “Como Entender” from her upcoming album.

Interviews from trendsetting artists such as Enrique Inglesias and Fall Out Boy, and a showcase of upcoming new music releases, hot tours, fashion crazes , big screen releases, addictive video games and must-have gadgets make “Espankin’ New ’07” the ultimate guide to the new year. The show will be hosted by MTV Tr3´s VJs Carlos Santos, Denise Ramirez and L Boogs and will introduce new MTV Tr3´s VJ, and Volumen Cero guitarist, Marthin Chan. The special also gives viewers a look ahead to future MTV Tr3´s programming such as January’s MTV Tr3´s Artist of the Month, RBD.

In an effort to expose the broader MTV audience to Latino culture and trends, “Espankin’ New ’07” will also air on MTV December 18 at 8:30am ET and on December 21 at 4:00pm ET and on MTV2 on December 22 at 10:00am ET and on December 24 at 8:00am ET.
