mun2 honored with NAMIC Vision Award.

mun2 has won the prestigious NAMIC (National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications) Vision award in the Reality Category for its “The mun2 Hook Up” episode featuring top recording artist, Frankie J. The award was announced on Friday April 17th at the 2009 NAMIC Vision Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Califormia.
“We are very honored by this recognition,” said Alex Pels, SVP & General Manager for mun2. “The mun2 Hook Up is a great example of our continued commitment to producing original content that empowers bilingual Latinos and to be recognized by an organization like NAMIC truly validates this commitment.”
The award-winning episode of “The mun2 Hook Up” features multi-talented Latin pop artist, Frankie J and young Mexican aspiring singer, Ivan Estrada. The Billboard chart-topping artist spends the day wtih Ivan, giving him the advise, support and challenges needed to prepare and succeed in the music industry.
