mun2 launches 4th season of The Chicas Project.

Crash and Yasmin are back for their fourth season of mun2’s hit reality/lifestyle series, “The Chicas Project.” This season, the chicas are taking their project to a whole new level, with a special season-finale in Washington D.C. Airing Thursdays at 7pm, the all-new 13-episode season launches Thursday July 9th at 7pmET/PT.

From herding cattle in Texas, and performing live with a mariachi band in Los Angeles, to baking punk rock cakes in Chicago, season four of “The Chicas Project” finds Crash and Yasmin once again criss-crossing the Unites States finding thrills, spills and adventures. This time along the way, the chicas collect the thoughts and concerns of young Latinas across the country, head to Capitol Hill, and present their accumulated messages to the President & CEO of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. Find out what kind of America today’s bilingual Latinas hope to have in season four of “The Chicas Project.”

“Throughout the last three seasons of ‘The Chicas Project,’ viewers have embraced Crash and Yasmin’s genuine, edgy and unpredictable personalities, which reflect the diverse nuances in the daily life of bicultural Latinas,” says Alex Pels, GM & SVP for mun2. “While season four will bring more of what audiences have come to love about Crash and Yasmin, it will also capture the chicas at the peak of their sassy misadventures.”

“It’s exciting to see that after three seasons of “The Chicas Project,” Crash and Yasmin still embody the spirit of young Latinas in this country,” says Gloria Medel Solomons, Executive Producer for mun2.

To kick off the highly-anticipated fourth season, Crash and Yasmin will be on Hollywood and Highland, the heart of Hollywood, California, on July 9th from 2-4pm for the chicas’ ultimate Hot Dog vs. Taco smackdown. Competing to give away their respective fast-food the quickest, and find out once-and-for-all whether Los Angeles prefers hot dogs or tacos, Crash, the rocker from LA, will be giving away 1,000 free tacos to fans and spectators, while Yasmin, originally from Queens, NY, will be representing the east coast as she hands out 1,000 free hot dogs. Sponsors for the initiative are Pink’s Hot Dogs and Joselito’s Mexican Food restaurant.

In preparation for the fourth season premiere of “The Chicas Project,” mun2 will host a Chicas Marathon on Fourth of July weekend featuring the top-voted, viewer-selected chicas episodes from seasons 1-3.

Plus, the chicas go digital on holamun2.com/chicas where every Thursday at 7pm during the premiere of each episode, chicas’ fans will have the opportunity to interact live with Crash and Yasmin on the network’s digital platform.
