mun2 Launches ‘The Roof’.

A music show like no other, “The Roof” will deliver the latest and hottest hip-hop and dance music hits, packaged within exclusive mega-mixes and re-mixes. It’s two hours of high-energy television entertainment featuring artist interviews, live performances, up-to-the-minute news and behind-the-scene images at concerts and events. “The Roof” will air Monday through Friday at 8:00 pm et/pt starting December 9 on mun2 television.
“Broadcast LIVE from a rooftop with industrial city backgrounds ‘The Roof’ will serve as a platform for up-and-coming artists, the hippest dancers in town, the hottest DJ’s in the country, and present interactive segments where viewers will be able to participate via calls and e-mails,” said Yolanda Foster, Vice President of Programming for mun2.
“The Roof” will deliver daily news and updates from its bureaus in Los Angeles, New York and Miami, which will be hosted by radio and music personalities including Felix Sama from Miami, who besides being a DJ, also hosts mun2 music show “UpBeat.” He is a record producer and a mentor for up-coming artists, having launched the Rhythm City Disc Jockey School for young people interested in becoming professional DJs.
Khool-Aid from Los Angeles is a popular DJ at Power 106, one of the most influential urban radio stations in the country where she anchors the afternoon show as well as “Pocos Pero Locos,” a show of her own creation. In addition, she’s also one of the co-founders of the Latin Hip-Hop record label, Sol Records. Magic Juan from New York is also known as the King of Merengue Hip Hop. He was the lead singer of the group “Proyecto Uno,” which garnered over ten #1 Hit Songs including the international phenomenon “El Tiburon.” He recently went solo with La Prueba,” and will soon cross-over to English with a debut for Flia/Koch records.
