mun2 continued its year-to-year ratings growth throughout the month of February showing sustained growth in major time periods including Weekday Prime and Total Day. The network has demonstrated solid year-to-year growth across all key dayparts among the highly-coveted demo of P12-34 since implementing its new programming strategy on October 1, 2005.

Based on ratings results provided by Nielsen Media Research for their National Hispanic Television Index (NHTI), mun2 closed out February ’06 with +71% growth in Weekday Prime and + 33% growth in Total Day among P12-34 vs. one year ago.

Mun2 registered outstanding deliveries in prime including:

WWE Raw! (Wed 8pm) delivered + 333% growth vs. last year
VIVO (Fri 7pm), a newly-debuted program, showed + 200% growth vs. last year
2RSLVJ (Thurs 9pm) climbed + 67% from last year
L’crème (Mon 9pm) delivered + 44% growth vs. last year

The network also experienced a significant boost in ratings for Weekends including:

+ 3300% gain for WWE RAW! (Sun 4pm)
+ 2800% growth for Reventon (Sat 2pm)
+ 600% increase for 18 and Over (Sat 12pm)
+ 333% more viewers for 2RSLVJ (Sat 1:30pm)

“Comparing our current ratings performance to that of last year’s speaks to how far the network has come is just one year,” said Alex Pels, general manager, mun2. “Our ratings growth validates our new programming strategy and mun2 will continue to evolve and progress based on this positive feedback from our viewers.”
