mun2 teams up with Chosen Few & UBO.

mun2 announced it is teaming up with Chosen Few Entertainment/Urban Box Office for Chosen Few: El Documental II “El Tour.” The highly-anticipated project is the second edition of the platinum-selling documentary Chosen Few: El Documental, which offered audiences the first stand-alone documentary about the history of Reggaeton.

mun2’s multiplatform effort will include a “One Nation Under Hip Hop” programming special with exclusive documentary coverage and interviews. In addition, mun2 will further support the project through its website and radio promotions and contests giveaways through select local radio stations in New York, Los Angeles and Puerto Rico.

“Since the creation of the network, mun2 has always been at the forefront of the reggaeton and Latin Hip Hop movements,” said Flavio Morales, VP Programming, mun2. “We‘re excited about partnering with Chosen Few Emerald Entertainment/Urban Box Office for Chosen Few II and the opportunity to continue supporting the genre and the many artists who have contributed to its success.”

mun2’s program “One Nation Under Hip Hop” will feature a special episode shot with Boy Wonder, the multi-platinum producer of Chosen Few: El Documental II “El Tour.” Hosted by mun2 resident VJ Frankie Needles, the special episode will include an in-depth interview on the making of the documentary and feature clips from the new documentary that are completely exclusive to mun2. The special will air on Wednesday, November 22 at 5:00PM EST with encore performances throughout the weekend (including Saturday at 3:00PM and 7:00PM EST).

The project will be further supported by radio promotions in New York, Los Angeles and Puerto Rico SBS radio stations. Select winners in each market will receive 4 tickets to the premier of Chose Few: El Documental II “El Tour,” provided by Chosen Few Entertainment/ Urban Box Office, limousine transportation to the event and a mun2 gift pack, provided by mun2. In addition, mun2 will give the winners four disposable cameras for the premier and will post the pictures online on www.holamun2.com.

Slated for nationwide release on November 14, Chosen Few: El Documental II “El Tour” will once again trace highlights of the increasingly-popular reggaeton movement and feature some of the genres biggest artists.
