mun2 television To Air ‘REGGAETON’.

mun2 television’s national tour comes to Miami for “The Roof on the Road Carnival Night,” a one-hour special featuring top reggaeton artists. The program will broadcast Sunday, March 28 at 8PM ET/PT on mun2.

The special will include musical presentations by Nicky Jam, Trivales, Alberto Stylee, Roka & Gamy, Lito y Polaco, Baby Rasta and Gringo. It will also include performances by the queen and the king of the Carnival, reggaeton stars Ivy Queen and Don Omar. In addition, the show will be hosted by “The Roof” anchors, Melanie Byron, Frankie Needles, Felix Sama and DJ Suicide.

“Miami is known for its club scene, and ‘The Roof on the Road Carnival Night’ brings the excitement straight to our viewers,” said Yolanda Foster, Vice President of Programming at mun2. “The special will feature urban Latin music at its best with back-to-back Reggaeton performances, a musical genre that combines Hip Hop, Rap and Reggae, and that, thanks to mun2, is gaining national recognition and exposure.”

“The Roof on the Road Carnival Night” is sponsored by Polaroid with Toyota Corolla as presenting sponsor. “The Roof on the Road” is a national tour produced by Urban Image Marketing & Media, sister company of Perfect Image Film and Video Production, also producers of “The Roof”. Every three months “The Roof on the Road” visits a major U.S. city. The next destination is San Antonio on May 21 and Los Angeles in late August.

Through its bureaus in Los Angeles, New York and Miami, “The Roof” has provided a window where young U.S. Latinos are being represented, spotlighting the music that appeals to them.
