mun2 television Launches ‘La Conexion’ & ‘LA Streets’.

mun2 television announced the addition of two new shows to its primetime line-up. “La Conexion” and “LA Streets” will expose Latino culture and presence in the west coast, specifically Los Angeles where Hispanics have become a majority. The shows launch Monday, March 1 with “LA Streets” airing Monday through Friday at 10:00P ET/PT and “La Conexion” airing Monday through Friday at 10:30PM ET/PT.

“La Conexion” is a magazine show that aims to explore how Latinos are helping to define urban American culture and lifestyle. Through special reports and interviews, “La Conexion” will inform and give voice to the actual movers and shakers from L.A. in a wide variety of topics including fashion, sports, technology, education, politics, music and art.

“LA Streets” as its title states, will hit the streets to find out what young urban Latinos think, and showcase the music that’s bumping in Southern California. From Hip-Hop to Banda, Reggaeton and Cumbia, Rock Latino and Pop, “LA Streets” will have it all. Host Alex III will also allow viewers to state their opinions on provocative questions, and show off their rides, moves, piercings or whatever makes them unique.

“These two new shows demonstrate the great impact that young Latinos are having in the west coast, and its an opportunity to highlight their achievements as well as their unique tastes in music, art, politics and other topics,” said Yolanda Foster, Vice President of Programming at mun2 television.
