mun2 Television Launches Reality TV Music Show.

Beginning on Saturday, January 11, mun2 television will broadcast its new innovative, reality-based television show, “NY Underground”. From the Bronx to Washington Heights, the series will cover the streets of New York City featuring Latin rap and hip hop genres documenting the lives of young, up-and-coming musicians in search of a record deal. “NY Underground” will air weekly at 12:00AM et/pt.

“There are many young U.S. Latin musicians that are well known in the streets of New York, but are not yet on the radar screen of most record label companies,” said Yolanda Foster, Vice President of Programming at mun2 television. “The show is very inspirational and we are certain the new series will not only entertain and move our viewers, but will also give these hopeful artists a chance to be seen and maybe get them closer to achieving their dreams,” she added.

From solo female and male artists to band groups, “NY Underground” will look for unsigned musicians while they practice trying to perfect their craft, waiting to be discovered on the city’s street corners, in garages or at home. In addition, the fresh, new show will present unrehearsed performances and unscripted one-on-one interviews with these artists at a different location every week.

“NY Underground” is co-produced by mun2 television and Forever Films International.
