mun2 television Nominated For Imagen Award.

mun2 television is a finalist for the 19th Annual Imagen Awards in the category of Best National Informational Programming for “La Conexion,” a co-production between mun2 and Perfect Image Film and Video Production. The awards recognize the positive portrayal of Latinos in all media, and the winners will be revealed at the Imagen awards gala on Thursday, August 26 at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills.

“We are extremely proud to receive this recognition from our peers, and it’s inspiring to be honored for a show that is so dedicated to its mission of reflecting the culture of Latino youth,” said Yolanda Foster, Vice President of programming at mun2.

“La Conexion”, executive produced by Anthony Perez from Perfect Image, was launched in February of this year as a TV magazine that aims to explore how Latinos in the west coast are helping to define the urban American culture and lifestyle. Through special reports and interviews this magazine informs and gives voice to the actual movers and shakers from the city of Los Angeles in a wide variety of topics including fashion, sports, technology, education, politics, music and art.
