mun2 television @ South Texas Scorcher.

mun2 television was invited by Time Warner Cable to participate in this year’s South Texas Scorcher, which is one of the biggest event ever to happen in the Rio Grande Valley. The South Texas Scorcher took place at the Hidalgo Dome on Saturday, September 11, from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.

“Cars, vehicle modification and racing overall are very popular with our audience and we’re always interested in exposing events that showcase this culture,” said Yolanda Foster, Vice President of Programming & Promotions for mun2. “The Scorcher is a motor vehicle extravaganza that our viewers won’t want to miss.”

“We welcomed mun2 as our guest for the South Texas Scorcher,” said Jimmy Kelly, Marketing Manager at Time Warner Cable. “We felt that ‘SpeedLogic’ and the event’s car show were a perfect match, and we’re also very pleased to have Alex III hosting the music stage for what promises to be the biggest event in the Rio Grande Valley.”

mun2 was on site at the Hidalgo Dome with its “SpeedLogic” show crew, filming the Scorcher Car Show, the nation’s biggest car show featuring 2005 vehicles. “Speed Logic,” which airs Monday through Friday at 7:30 p.m., is a high-speed show whose stars are cars, motorcycles and motorboats. It gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at racing and vehicle modification, so it travels to special events, competitions and hangouts, looking for the ultimate suit up machine.

Alex III, a Mexican-American who conducts “LA Streets,” a music show that airs Monday through Friday at 10 p.m., hosted the band stage featuring Tantric and 10 other high-profile groups. This seasoned DJ and TV host with a sound knowledge of rock, hip hop, Spanish alternative music, heavy metal and more, will bring his high-energy style to the music stage.
