mun2 television’s “THE ROOF” Celebrates 2nd Anniversary In Dallas.

mun2 television’s primetime music show “The Roof” will celebrate its second anniversary in Dallas with its “The Roof on the Road” series. “The Roof Anniversary in Dallas” will take place Thursday, December 2nd at Escapade 2001 located at 10701 Finnel St. in Dallas.
Topping the urban star-studded line-up are award-winning Dominican group and Latin Grammy nominees, Ilegales, known for such hits as “La Morena” and “El Taqui, Taqui,” now back with a new sound and flavor; Reggeton Diva, Ivy Queen, who reached the Billboard top Latin Album charts with her latest album titled “Diva Platinum Edition” and who released her highly anticipated album “Real” this week; hip-hop artist Don Dinero, whose debut album “Que Bola” became the number one Spanish album on the radio in Miami; and Houston’s Latino rapper Baby Bash, who is poised to cross over to mainstream stardom with the smash single “Suga Suga” from his new album, The Smokin’ Nephew.”
The stage will also light up with performances from up-and-coming artist Chuly, whose unique style of hip-hop and reggae is portrayed on his debut single “Así te gusta;” Mexican American rapper El Boodah, who emerged from the San Francisco valley in California to promote his new single titled “Semana Mambo;” Rap duo Play N Skillz from Dallas, the hottest up-and-coming talent in Texas street-rap; singer and songwriter, Frankie J, who recently debuted in Columbia Records with “What’s a Man To Do,” demonstrating his fusion of R&B and hip-hop; Latin music sensation, K1 (abbreviation for Kings One), previous members of award-winning Kumbia Kings who now reach out with their own powerful musical formula that mixes hip-hop, R&B, rap, vallenato and salsa; and finally urban regional singer, Ana Alicia, whose first solo album “AnaAliciandome” is a hybrid of hip-hop, regional Mexican and pop music, and who will soon participate in the upcoming reality TV show “La Familia Perfecta,” to air next year on mun2.
“During the past two years ‘The Roof’ has become the ultimate source of urban Latin music entertainment for young U.S. Hispanics,” said Yolanda Foster, Vice President of Programming and Promotions at mun2. “The program continuously drives the emerging music trends that are becoming the norm for this audience, and prides itself for serving as a platform for up-and-coming and rising artists,” she added.
