mun2 television’s ‘The Roof’ Celebrates Miami’s Calle 8 With Its Very Own Carnival.

mun2 television’s primetime music show “The Roof” is on tour again with “The Roof on the Road” series. This time its destination is Miami, where it will celebrate the Calle 8 Street festival with its very own carnival. “The Roof on the Road Carnival Night” will take place Saturday, March 13 at 8PM at Mad House club located at 3301 Rickenbacker Causeway. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or at the door.

The queen and the king of the Carnival will be reggaeton stars Ivy Queen and Don Omar. The event will also feature musical presentations by Nicky Jam, Trivales, Alberto Stylee, Roka & Gamy, Lito y Polaco and Baby Rasta y Gringo In addition, “The Roof” anchors, Frankie Needles, Felix Sama and DJ Suicide will host the carnival.

“‘The Roof on the Road Carnival Night’ is an excellent opportunity not only for the artists who will highlight their music, but also for our viewers, who will learn more about their Latin culture, while at the same time becoming part of the show” said Yolanda Foster, Vice President of Programming at mun2.

“The Roof on the Road Carnival Night” will be produced and broadcast on mun2 Sunday, March 28 at 8PM ET/PT. The show is sponsored by Polaroid with Toyota Corolla as presenting sponsor. “The Roof on the Road” is a national tour produced by Urban Image Marketing & Media, sister company of Perfect Image Film and Video Production, also producers of “The Roof”, which features different urban music genres, including Reggaeton, Latin Hip Hop, Merengue and alternative music. Every three months “The Roof on the Road” visits a major Ucity. After Miami, the tour will visit San Antonio on May 21 and Los Angeles in late August.
