NAHP announces Board of Directors

The National Association of Hispanic Publications, Inc. (NAHP, Inc.) announced the swearing in of its new Executive Board of Directors and Regional Directors as the organization celebrates its 40th year anniversary next year in 2022. This year, the NAHP swears in its largest and most diverse group of leaders in over a decade.

“Our industry has been through a lot and so has the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP). Our membership is made up largely of less-than-daily free publications; many impacted by the rapid pace of change. Then, came COVID-19 and the almost simultaneous social awakening of Black Lives Matter,” said current NAHP President Alvaro Gurdian. From this entire struggle came a renewed drive to continue our mission to inform, defend and uplift our communities. No matter how difficult, we found ways to honor our legacy and bridge the digital divide.”

“As our New Board of Directors take the helm, we will unapologetically continue to move forward and improve ourselves and our industry, in defiance of those who would hold us back. We know that by helping fellow publishers, we strengthen our community, our industry and ourselves,” stated NAHP President Alvaro Gurdian.
