NAHP Repositions Marketing Outreach.
April 4, 2005
The National Association of Hispanic Publications, Inc. (NAHP) and American Multicultural Media (AMM), ratified a new agreement with significant new implications for the Hispanic print industry. The ambitious agreement places the NAHP in a position to drive significantly larger Hispanic print media advertising with commissionable earnings from sales and enticements of faster turn around payments goals from AMM to newspapers affiliated with NAHP.
“We are very much excited to renew our relationship with AMM. Their commitment to the Hispanic Print industry is outstanding and we feel that they will provide a tremendous service to our membership” stated Lupita Colmenero, President of the NAHP.
Ms. Colmenero and Andrew Sawyer, Executive Vice President of AMM executed the agreement for their respective parties.
The agreement is part of a larger effort of sweeping changes in the new administration of the NAHP that emphasizes the best interest of the membership. With AMM as the representative agency of record for NAHP, the two entities joint efforts will enhance outreach and significantly increase coordination in the burgeoning and increasingly competitive Hispanic print market place. The agreement will also serve as a national model for other representative firms in working with the NAHP. Discussions are now underway to secure representation for the magazine and yellow page publications of the NAHP.
