NBC Cable Networks Launch ‘Más’ Hispanic Marketing Campaign.
August 8, 2003
NBC Cable Networks announced the launch of “Más” an extensive branding campaign dedicated to helping cable operators increase and retain Hispanic customers, launching September 22. The campaign focuses on the tag line, Quiero Más, Quiero Cable: “I want more, I want cable.”
This first of its kind campaign will focus on increasing penetration of Hispanic customers and educating Hispanics on the value of cable through television and radio advertising, newspaper display ads; POS materials; in-show segments on both Telemundo and mun2 and stories on Telemundo.com and mun2tv.com; and public relations initiatives. The materials will be made available to all affiliates in early September and can find additional information on NBCCableinfo.com.
“The Más Campaign was created in direct response to our cable affiliates desire to drive acquisition and retention of Hispanic customers,” said Lynette Pinto, vice president, marketing, NBC Cable Networks. “Through this campaign we hope to educate non-cable subscribers about the value of cable and educate current customers about the power of cable’s digital services. By running this campaign across both broadcast on Telemundo and cable on mun2, we are able to capitalize on the very target that our cable affiliates are trying to reach.”
