NBC UNIVERSO to broadcast “Festival Internacional de Viña del Mar 2015”

NBC UNIVERSO announced the launch of its exclusive, multi-platform telecast of “Festival Internacional de Viña del Mar 2015,” Latin America’s largest and longest-running music festival. More than 34 hours of exclusive live coverage and television specials will be available in the U.S. exclusively through NBC UNIVERSO on multiple platforms: on TV, PCs, tablets/mobile devices and On Demand.

Beginning Sun., Feb. 22, NBC UNIVERSO will kick off its six-day live stream of the music festival, allowing anyone to stream live on NBCUNIVERSO.com all the pulsating performances in real-time, directly from Quinta Vergara amphitheater in the seaside city of Viña del Mar, Chile.

In addition, the cable network will also showcase the best of “Festival Internacional de Viña del Mar 2015” on TV beginning Wed., Feb. 25, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, with a one-hour kick-off special featuring Mexican music icon, Alejandro Fernandez. After that, for two full months on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT starting March 1, NBC UNIVERSO will air television concert specials for viewers to re-live the performances by some of today’s biggest Latin artists worldwide.
