NCC To Rep Cox Cable’s Azteca America.
November 6, 2004
National Cable Communications signed an agreement with Una Vez Mas to handle its national spot advertising business for Azteca America in five Cox Communications markets on the West Coast – San Diego, Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas and Santa Barbara. The agreement began this month.
Azteca America is an over-the-air broadcast network – thus, this will mark the first time ever NCC will rep broadcast entities. All national spot advertising will appear on both the over-the-air broadcasts, as well as on the Cox Communications cable systems.
“We’re honored and excited Una Vez Mas and Cox Communications have selected NCC to represent Azteca America in these five markets,” said Deborah Cuffaro, NCC Vice President for News & Multicultural Sales. “Atzeca America is one of the premier producers of Spanish language television programming in the world, and these markets are among the most rapidly growing Hispanic communities in the nation – it’s a natural fit. With this partnership, NCC is committed to helping advertisers realize the value of reaching the powerful Hispanic consumer.”
Added Mark Paretchan, President of Ad Sales, Una Vez Mas, “Working with NCC’s nationwide footprint gives us access to all advertisers looking to reach the fastest growing segment of consumers. NCC has done an outstanding job of increasing its multicultural efforts, and has hired some of the most experienced multicultural experts in the advertising industry. We’re in great hands with NCC representing us on the national level.”
Earlier this year, NCC expanded its multicultural efforts considerably with the opening of a Miami office dedicated to this segment, while also adding multicultural specialists in its New York, Los Angeles and Dallas offices.
