July 30, 2012
Nestle Waters North America has announced the launch of “Puro Orgullo de Mama” (Mom’s Pure Pride), and invites Latina moms across the United States to take part. This campaign is an extension of the Nestle® Pure Life national brand initiative offering Latina moms fun, exciting and creative ways to incorporate water into their family’s daily life. This year’s campaign will be hosted on the Nestle Pure Life en Espanol Facebook page from now until late September, with continued support from the brand’s partner, award–winning TV personality and motivator, Cristina Saralegui.
“At Nestle Pure Life, we understand that Latina mothers are proactive and hungry for knowledge. They want to feel empowered when making decisions for their families,” explained Maude Ancone, Brand Manager of Nestle Pure Life. “This year’s campaign not only inspires and engages Latina moms, but also underscores our continued commitment to promoting a well-balanced, active and healthy lifestyle.”
“Puro Orgullo de Mama” (Mom’s Pure Pride), is an online promotion designed to motivate Latina moms to share their generational stories and personal experiences that promote a healthy lifestyle and everyday hydration. Nestle Pure Life is also offering consumers a $1 off coupon toward the purchase of Nestle Pure Life Purified Water, while supplies last, and the opportunity to enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win the grand prize trip for four (4) to Miami to meet Cristina Saralegui, plus free Nestle Pure Life water for a year.*
To help Latina moms in their quest for healthy balance, Nestle Pure Life will unveil a series of vignettes featuring Cristina, on the Nestle Pure Life en Espanol Facebook page, that not only provide healthy hydration tips, but also highlight how family traditions have inspired her own nutrition and hydration choices, while encouraging other mothers to instill healthy habits in their families.
“We are formed by our childhood experiences. We learn habits, values, and overall outlook on healthy living from our parents,” says Cristina Saralegui. “That is why I am proud to support Nestle Pure Life with their continued efforts that encourage Latino families to incorporate water into their healthy, balanced life.”
