New Doublemint Twins.

Lápiz Integrated Hispanic Marketing launches a national advertising campaign for Wrigley’s Doublemint TWINS, a new mint introduced to the confectionery market in January 2006 – and not to be confused with the human forms we know as the Doublemint Twins.

The new campaign developed by Lápiz Creatives, Guillermo Tragant, Rogerio Baran, Sebastian Pallares, Maria Bernal and Gloria Dusenberry contains both TV and print, and hopes to establish a niche for the mint within the Doublemint chewing gum family. Doublemint TWINS are a unique blend of two flavors in one mint and aims to add to consumers’ mild mint experience. The three new TV spots, “Airplanes,” “Butterflies,” and “Bubbles,” are slated to air throughout the year and embrace Doublemint’s tagline “Un pequeno placer y nada mas.”

According to Creative Director, Guillermo Tragant, “The campaign captures the enjoyment quality of the product very well. The usage of music was key for this assignment that is why we decided to go with music from Indie bands like, El Otro Yo, Victoria Mil, and Emanuell Horvilleur, that brought a fresh twist and fit to the visual ideas perfectly.”
