As announced at the 2003 Upfront by Telemundo President & CEO, Jim McNamara, the network has built an all new production facility, to produce original novelas, reality and talk shows with a greater focus on the lifestyles, interests, and aspirations of U.S. Hispanics. Now Telemundo Studios has officially opened its doors for business.
Telemundo Studios has some of the largest studio sound stages in the Miami area with over 50,000 sq feet of total production space. Telemundo has built an all new fully digital control room with new digital cameras and lights for the stages. Telemundo has also built a fully digital video truck for remote shoots and has also built an all digital post production facility for video, graphics and audio.
The first novela production using the new Telemundo Studios is “Amor Descarado”, featuring an all star international cast including Jose Angel Llamas (La Venganza) and Barbara Mori (Mirada de Mujer), scheduled to launch this fall.
