New York’s WPIX-TV and LATV team with Pathmark on Hispanic Heritage Month.

WPIX-TV (CW) and its Hispanic-targeted digital multicast channel LATV (Channel 11.3) announced a joint partnership with New Jersey-based Pathmark Supermarkets to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at New York’s South Street Seaport on Sunday, September 27.
LATV’s popular on-air celebrity Pili Montilla will emcee an afternoon of FREE activities from 12 Noon to 5pm that will be accompanied by live music, a salsa competition, and free prizes and giveaways. LATV’s Pili Montilla is the host of En la Zona and En Concierto, which air locally in New York on WPIX-TV, a Tribune-owned station.
“As part of the WPIX family, LATV is thrilled to participate in events like this,” said Starrett Berry, LATV’s Vice President of Affiliate Sales.

The following are scheduled to appear: Dr. Isabel Gomez-Bassols, a radio psychologist who hosts the live call-in show “Doctora Isabel”; the world-renowned Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club Dancers; the Mexican Mariachi group, Mariachi Real de Mexico; Bronx Latin dance squad, Dancers Dreamzzz; and popular Latin swing and salsa band, Jerry Hernandez y La Orquesta Dee Jay.
