Nextel Mexico & Telcel initiate short messaging service (SMS) in Mexico.

Nextel Mexico announced that short messaging service (SMS) has begun between Nextel Mexico and Telcel. The interoperability of SMS between the companies will benefit wireless users throughout the country and it reinforces the commitment that Nextel Mexico and Telcel have made to the development of the telecommunications industry in Mexico.
