NHCC Explores The Dynamics Of Crisis Management & Community Relations.

The National Hispanic Corporate Council (NHCC) will hold its Annual Member Meeting, titled Leadership and Winning Hispanic Initiatives: Crisis Management and Community Relations, at the Hyatt Regency, Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX, November 4-6, 2003. Experts in crisis management and community relations will present case studies and interactive workshops for the FORTUNE 1000 corporate representatives. The conference is sponsored by Allstate Insurance Company and Shell Oil.

Russell Caplan, Vice President Retail for Shell Oil Products U.S. and Motiva Enterprises, with Sales and Marketing responsibility for the Shell brand in the US, will make the keynote address, followed by Vergilio Perez-Pascoe, Past Vice President of International Marketing for Coors Brewing Company. John Mullane, President of Calumet Communications Group, which specializes in crisis communications and issues management, will discuss the principles of crisis management and lead the case studies. Ronnie Choudhary, a Specialist at Miller Brewing Company, will offer insight into how a company’s community relations program can enhance perceptions of its brands. Maria Molina, Manager of Hispanic Corporate Relations for Procter & Gamble, will explain the importance of synergy among the divisions within a company to achieve corporate excellence as exemplified in its “Avanzando con tu Familia” (helping your family succeed) Latino initiative. David Gonzales, Vice President of Community Affairs for PepsiCo, Inc., will discuss the evolution, relevance and use of advisory councils as marketing tools.
