Nielsen’s ‘People Meters’ On The Hill.

U.S. Senators Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and Conrad Burns (R-Mont) have stated that the Senate Communications Subcommittee will hold a hearing on Nielsen Media Research – People Meters, which is scheduled for July 15, 2004.

The hearing will begin to investigate the accuracy of Nielsen’s – People Meters. This follows the heavy anti-Nielsen campaign by ‘Don’t Count Us Out’ group in the press and the Univision Communications lawsuit against Nielsen’s rollout of the People Meters.
