Nilda Velez – GM @ Mosaica.

Mosaica, the multicultural communications agency under The Bravo Group umbrella, announces the appointment of Nilda Velez as General Manager.

She will oversee the Payless ShoeSource, Citibank and Unilever accounts, among others.

Velez joins Mosaica from Bravo, where she most recently held the title of VP, Managing Director. In this role, she led a team of 11 and managed the Kraft Foods, Lifetime Television and Toys “R” Us accounts.

Velez joined Bravo in 1999 as Account Supervisor on the Kraft Foods business, which at the time consisted of four brands engaged in Hispanic marketing. Today there are over 15. Velez successfully grew the business to Agency of Record status, for both advertising and multi-brand promotions. She led positioning, strategy and marketing plan development and implementation for such iconic Kraft brands as Kool-Aid, Ritz, Oreos and Oscar Mayer, among others.
