Nobox awarded a Webby.

Nobox Marketing Group has captured the Internet industry’s most prestigious global award – a Webby. The agency’s work on behalf of Mozilla Firefox 3 has earned them a People’s Voice Award for Best Online Campaign for its Download Day launch campaign. The Webby Awards also announced that Nobox is in the Webby People’s Voice Top 10 categories, having received among the most number of votes this year.

Nobox will be saluted with other distinguished recipients of the 13th Annual Webby Awards, such as NPR, NYTimes.com, Twitter, NBC.Com, YouTube and BBC; and, join a stellar roster of special achievement honorees, which include Jimmy Fallon, Trent Reznor, Sarah Silverman, Lisa Kudrow and Seth MacFarlane, at a June 8th gala in New York City. The agency will also be called to the stage to deliver a 5-word acceptance speech. Some past Webby Award winners – and their speeches – also include Al Gore (“Please don’t recount this vote.”), Beastie Boys (“Can anyone fix my computer?”), and Stephen Colbert (“Me. Me. Me. Me. Me.”).

“All of this year’s winners embrace the Internet as the medium where they can take risks, experiment, and share new ideas,” said David-Michel Davies, executive director of the Webby Awards. “Their vision and creativity, like those of all of our winners, have helped make the Internet a richer, more exciting, and more vibrant experience.”
