Norsan Broadcasting Systems selects Lotus Entravision Reps.

Norsan Broadcasting Systems has selected Lotus Entravision Reps (LER) to handle all of its national advertising sales. The partnership between LER and Norsan Broadcasting Systems, which begins immediately, expands LER’s foot-print in the southeast and aligns Norsan Broadcasting with a sales team that is focused on developing national ad sales for emerging Hispanic markets.

Norsan Broadcasting Systems is well positioned for growth in the southeastern U.S. Currently, Norsan has eight radio stations serving three markets: Charlotte, North Carolina; Columbia, South Carolina; Jacksonville/St. Augustine, Florida. The company plans to add new stations in the near future. “Norsan Broadcasting Systems has continued to expand in the southeast through quality programming that attracts a wide cross-section of listeners because it speaks to the hearts and minds of Hispanics,” said Robert Fox, sales director for Norsan Broadcasting Systems.

Lotus Entravision Reps will educate national advertisers and agencies about the enormous opportunities that exist to reach the southeast’s fast-growing Hispanic population. “LER believes in these emerging Hispanic markets. Norsan Broadcasting is committed to expanding its market list and LER intends to play a big role in fueling that growth,” said Mary Hawley, president, Lotus Entravision Reps.

“LER brings the right mix of sales experience and a track record of results to our radio group,” said Norberto Sanchez, chairman and CEO. “We are confident that through this partnership we will deliver the bottom-line results advertisers have come to expect from Spanish-language radio.”
