Now It’s … Creative Civilization – An Aguilar/Girard Agency.

Celebrating its third anniversary on February 16th, Creative Civilization – An Aguilar Agency is adding the Girard name to its moniker to reflect the ownership and partnership of Adolfo Aguilar and Gisela Girard. The agency will now be formally known as Creative Civilization – An Aguilar/Girard Agency.

Since founding the agency in February 1999, the husband and wife advertising team have enjoyed accelerated growth, establishing Creative Civilization as a leading agency in the region. “Gisela’s leadership is synonymous with the agency’s innovation, spirit and growth,” said Aguilar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Creative Civilization. “Gisela and I have established Creative Civilization as a full service advertising agency engaged in general market and Hispanic market advertising and into one of the most active agencies in the Southwest.”

The agency enjoys general market and Hispanic market advertising partnerships with clients including the San Antonio Spurs, San Antonio Express-News, Marriott Plaza San Antonio Hotel, American Cancer Society, Texas Department of Health-Tobacco Prevention, Texas Department of Transportation-Don’t Mess With Texas, KellyUSA, Vara Chevrolet and others.

In addition to Aguilar and Girard’s entrepreneurial lifestyle, they actively participate in leadership roles for many community groups and organizations including the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce “Think Big, Buy Small” small business campaign, San Fernando Cathedral City Centre Capital Campaign and SAY Sí Youth Arts Group fundraisers. Girard serves on several boards including the San Antonio Museum of Art Board of Trustees, American Cancer Society Board of Directors, Advisory Board for LatinoUSA, a National Public Radio program and is a member of the San Fernando Cathedral Historical Centre Foundation. Aguilar serves as co-chair of San Antonio Mayor Ed Garza’s Blue Ribbon Commission on the San Antonio Economy and is on the Our Lady of the Lake University Board of Trustees, in addition to the Advisory Board of LatinoUSA.
