nuvoTV bolsters Senior Team.

nuvoTV, which will re-launch from its present branding as Sí TV on July 4, announced that it has made two key executive hires to support the network’s continuing expansion in the areas of legal affairs, business development and digital platforms.

Randall Lewis has joined nuvoTV as vice president business & legal affairs. Lewis will be responsible for the network’s business and legal affairs activities, including oversight of all negotiation and drafting of production deals, programming acquisitions agreements, affiliate agreements and general legal matters. He will report to Michael Schwimmer, chief executive officer.

Before joining nuvoTV, Lewis was senior counsel at Disney ABC Television Group, overseeing all aspects of legal affairs regarding digital media and short form production for the cable networks group including Disney Channel, Disney XD, and ABC Family. He also served as director of business and legal affairs for InfoSpace Mobile where he acquired content for new media and drafted distribution agreements with mobile partners. Lewis began his career at leading law firm Manatt Phelps & Phillips as an entertainment and intellectual property litigator.

Steven Ward has joined the nuvoTV as executive director of digital media. Ward will oversee the major expansion of nuvoTV’s digital initiatives. He reports to Rafe Oller, senior vice president marketing.

Prior to joining nuvoTV, Ward was director of digital media at Fox Reality Channel (Fox Network Group). In that position, he managed the development and integration of all digital media platforms, and oversaw all short-form and digital content creation processes for the network’s digital platforms. During his tenure at Fox Reality, Ward launched more than 17 micro-sites for FOX Reality Channel original series and more than 20 distinct television series/special events. Ward began his career at Time Warner Cable and Reed Business Information.
