nuvoTV unveils 2012 – 2013 Programming Slate.

nuvoTV will feature five new non-scripted series for its 2012-13 season including: Mario Lopez 1-on-1, Fight Factory, The 7 of Clubs, Curvy Girls and Low-Ballers. These shows will join nuvoTV’s returning original reality Model Latina to anchor the schedule. The five new programs offer everything from a rare look inside the hugely popular sport of MMA to sexy celebrity interviews with top Latino talent– all geared toward BCLs.

MARIO LOPEZ 1-on-1 – New Original Series
Step aside Ryan Seacrest, there’s a hot new celebrity correspondent that’s quickly becoming the most in-demand TV personality in Hollywood. Mexican-American superstar Mario Lopez is teaming with nuvoTV and inviting viewers into the mix of his exclusive 1-on1 chats with some of the biggest Latino celebs in entertainment! Mario can go beyond the tabloid headlines to get the real story and reveal the emotional and inspiring stories of Latino superstars that you won’t see anywhere else.

FIGHT FACTORY (1 hour, reality series) 9 episodes – New Original Series
nuvoTV’s new no-holds-barred reality series takes on the fastest growing sport in the world by taking viewers inside the ring and into the private world of top Latino MMA fighters, heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez and newcomer Wayne Phillips, as well as top fighters such as Josh Koscheck, Jon Fitch and Daniel Cormier. Set at the AKA gym, the team is coached by legendary kickboxer Javier Mendez and UFC vet “Crazy” Bob Cook and managed by Dewayne Zinkin. THE 7 OF CLUBS (1/2 – 1 hour, reality series) – New Original Series
You’re on the VIP list! Go with nuvoTV beyond the velvet rope at the world’s hottest clubs and events and experience the up-all-night energy of the global party scene, where music legends are made as the beats keepers behind the turntables become overnight superstars. Los Angeles’ DJ Dirty Draws – aka popular Latino mix master Jesus Cortez – takes viewers with him and his six club compadres as they mix and mingle while striving to maneuver his career from the L.A. club scene to an international platform one club at a time!

CURVY GIRLS (1/2 hour, reality series) 7 episodes – New Original Series
They’re gorgeous, ambitious, large and in charge! Meet the Curvy Girls, a sexy clique of plus-size models who will do almost anything to succeed in a modeling business ruled by thin women. Friendships emerge and catfights erupt as four fashion-focused chicas with plus-size personalities strive to balance motherhood and rocky relationships with their unstoppable drive to make their dreams a reality.
