Olga Echeverri named GM at GenTV.

Roberto Vizcon is leaving as General Manager of the Spanish-language broadcaster GENTV CHANNEL 8 to pursue independent projects. He will be replaced by current Station Manager, Olga Echeverri, a longtime Caracol Network executive who has been an important part of the formation of WGENTV since early 2007.
“It is always difficult to say good-bye, because of that this is only a brief farewell… I have no doubt that GEN TV and Caracol will reach incredible success in the United States” states Mr. Vizcon.
Olga Echeverri has been appointed to oversee all business matters for GenTV. Ms. Echeverri’s ample experience in television as General Manager of the diverse sectors of the industry have included, but are not limited to, news, programming, finance, and strategy.
