Ortiz – Studio Manager for Brunet-García.

Brunet-García Multicultural Advertising & PR announced the promotion of Lara Ortiz to studio manager for the agency.

“Lara has the honed creative and organizational skills that allow her to perform beyond her relative few years in the agency business. Furthermore, Lara grew up thinking, living, & learning in two languages, her bicultural upbringing allows her to understand the subtleties needed to communicate to multicultural audiences,” said Jorge Brunet-García, vice president and executive creative director.

Lara Ortiz joined the agency upon her graduation in 2004, and most recently served as art director. A first generation Cuban-American, originally from Miami, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Her passion for design has been recognized through numerous local, regional and national design awards.

As an art director for Brunet-García, Lara has spent the past two years working on the agency’s award-winning projects for its broad range of clients, including Vistakon, the Florida Department of Health, Haskell, the Jacksonville Museum of Modern Art and the Jacksonville Public Library. As the new studio manager, Lara will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the agency’s creative department while ensuring that the agency’s high creative standards are maintained.
