Otero-Smart new President & CEO of Casanova Pendrill.

Ingrid Otero-Smart will join Casanova Pendrill as President and CEO and Dan Nance, who has held those roles, will be elevated to the post of Chairman of the agency. Otero-Smart joins from Anita Santiago Advertising (ASA) where she has been President for the past three years.

Ingrid is a respected industry veteran who knows the Hispanic consumer and marketplace expertly. She has broad and successful client experience, proven leadership skills, and is committed to our vision of a next-generation Hispanic communications company.”
Otero-Smart will have day to day responsibilities for the agency working with Nance who will focus on mid-to-long term opportunities for the agency and its clients, as well as talent acquisition.

Otero-Smart joined ASA in 2005 as President, with responsibility for agency operations and for overseeing such clients as IKEA, The Nielsen Company, See’s Candies, Compass Bank and United HealthCare. Previously she was with Mendoza Dillon & Asociados, rising to President and COO. Client responsibilities spanned automotive, packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, retail and technology categories, including Ford Motor Co, Cingular, Sears, Kraft/General Foods, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer and McNeil Consumer Products, among others. She began her career in media and account management in her native Puerto Rico at McCann Erickson Puerto Rico.
