Pacheco named Sr VP of Enterprise Development at Univision Enterprises.

Richard Pacheco has been named Senior Vice President of Enterprise Development in the Univision Enterprises team at Univision Communications Inc. Effective immediately, Mr. Pacheco will be continue to be based in New York, reporting to Rick Alessandri, Executive Vice President of Enterprise Development.
 
Mr. Pacheco, who joined Univision in 2008, previously served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives working directly with Andy Hobson, Senior Executive VP, Chief Financial Officer. Since joining the Company, he has worked in a variety of roles including as special assistant to the CEO, and has overseen the implementation of several top strategic initiatives within Univision’s local and sales operations. Mr. Pacheco will be working with Rick Alessandri on all new business development efforts within Univision Enterprises.
 
Before joining Univision, Mr. Pacheco was an associate in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Practice Group at Bear, Stearns & Co. where he advised media companies on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, debt and equity financings, and other corporate deal making matters. He previously served as an associate in the Corporate Practice Group at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP where he advised clients on M&A and capital market transactions.
 
Univision Enterprises focuses on three core businesses: Univision Direct, which develops products and services to directly serve consumers, such as the Univision MasterCard Prepaid Card; Univision Consumer Products, which is focused on licensing; and Live Event Development and Activation.
