Páginas Amarillas de MiAvenida Distributes Austin.

Avenida América, Inc., a publisher of Spanish-language yellow pages, announced the distribution for the second edition of its Austin Spanish yellow pages, Páginas Amarillas de MiAvenida. This unique directory is the first to offer the area’s most complete directory of Hispanic-owned and Spanish-friendly businesses. 75,000 copies were hand-delivered to 40,000 residences and businesses in Travis and Williamson Counties in early May, and made available at over 400 high-traffic retail outlets including area HEBs.

“The interest and response to our first edition in 2003 created incredible excitement for this next issue,” said Sebastian Puente, Executive Vice President. “Advertisers are excited because they now have a directory that effectively reaches and connects with Hispanics, which spend over $4.9 billion annually on products and services in the greater Austin area. Equally, Spanish-speakers have embraced the resource that solves a significant barrier in finding and using business services.”

Jose Puente, Avenida América, Inc. President added, “Both advertisers and consumers quickly realize the value that Páginas Amarillas de MiAvenida brings to the marketplace. Small businesses in particular appreciate it, not just for its exceptional features, but also because of its affordability-we charge less than half of what they’re used to. Plainly put, Páginas Amarillas de MiAvenida’s “my avenue” approach delivers more choices and greater opportunity to everyone. And advertisers are thrilled to be able to reach this lucrative market.”
