Shell Lubricants announced that it is awarding the Pennzoil Motor Oil Brand’s creative advertising account to TBWA\Chiat\Day’s Los Angeles office and its marketing services agency TEQUILA\. Roth Associates conducted the account review search.
The three finalists in the search were TBWA\Chiat\Day and Deutsch, both in Los Angeles, and The Martin Agency in Richmond, VA.
“In the end, this was a difficult decision as these are some of the finest agencies in the business,” said Steve Hanson, Senior Vice President, Motor Oil Branding. “We’re looking forward to breakthrough creative and the marketing plan integration we know will come from working with TBWA\Chiat\Day’s strong team.”
