The shows will include exclusive interviews with top artists both in-studio and from tour dates across the country and around the world, live performances, a close look at new music releases and coverage of the popular music genres. In addition, Karla will countdown the top 20 videos and will introduce the “video of the week” as voted on by the viewers at http://www.pepsimusica.com, a comprehensive Spanish-language Web site that will offer fans even more ways to get closer to
their favorite music.

Formerly known as “La Cartelera Pepsi,” “Pepsi Musica” represents a brand new look for the series with different content including several themed episodes. The first “Pepsi Musica” show airing on April 24 will be dedicated to the women of Mexican Pop Music and will feature an interview with Thalia, news on Alejandra Guzman’s latest CD “Lipstick,” music from Julieta Venegas, Mexican breakout artist Belinda, and the incomparable Paulina Rubio. “Pepsi Musica is helping us build a deeper emotional connection with Latino teens and young adults,” said Tyler Ricks, director of multicultural marketing, Pepsi-Cola North America. “We are speaking directly to this audience with programming that is not only relevant but also explores and celebrates the heritage, style, diversity and authenticity of the Latino culture.”
