Peykar appointed VP of Direct Response at Univision.

Shirin Peykar has been appointed vice president of Direct Response at Univision Communications Inc.
In this new role, Peykar will be responsible for building and overseeing the Direct Response team at Univision. She will report to Jeff Browning, senior vice president of News Sales & Strategy, and will be based in New York.
Ms. Peykar previously spent seven years at Viacom where she held various roles. In last position there, she served as director of Ad Sales, overseeing direct response ad sales for Nickelodeon, Nick@Nite, TeenNick and Nicktoons. In her prior role, she oversaw all direct response sales and campaign placements on MTV, Vh1, MTV Hits, MTV Jams, MTVU, MTV Tres, Palladia and Vh1 Classic. She was also an account executive serving Spike, MTV, Vh1 and CMT.
