In 2001, Allen’s career took a new and exciting turn, serving the Bush Administration as a Political Appointee at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, where she was appointed Director of Communications for Secretary Tommy G. Thompson. Linda holds a B.S. degree in Broadcast Telecommunications from California State University, Fullerton.

“Diversified programming and an accurate portrayal of our communities are paramount to all of our efforts at Pie Face,” said Herrera. “There is a tremendous void in television programming for English-dominant Latinos in the U.S. Pie Face will target our productions to this emerging sector of the U.S. population. We look forward to announcing our 2006 line up and our network partners later this month.”
